Happy new year everyone at Dexter Sports FC

As we head into a new year, I’d like to say a sincere thank you to everyone involved with the club for their continued support and commitment over the past year. It’s always been a privilege to be part of leading the club, and with the fantastic support of our amazing committee and volunteers across the club, we’ve continued to build a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment for our players — which remains at the heart of everything we do.

Looking ahead at 2026, we do have some exciting ideas planned, but our focus will always be on developing players at the right pace and in the right way.

One of these steps is the introduction of Saturday football, offering an additional opportunity for players who are ready to experience football at a higher level.

Our U10s will take part from January as a trial, allowing us to carefully review how it works before any wider rollout at the start of the new season. We have been exploring both the Testway League and the Junior Premier League (JPL). This will be done gradually, with players’ wellbeing and enjoyment remaining the priority.
