Ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for every young participant in football is our top priority.
Reporting & Resolution
We treat reported incidents with utmost seriousness. We conduct thorough investigations and, if unable to resolve an incident internally, we seek guidance from the appropriate authorities.
Interested in Safeguarding? Our Child Protection course is open to all adults. Please contact the Club Secretary for details.
Safeguarding Guidelines
To ensure a secure environment for players and volunteers, all Managers, Coaches, and Volunteers must adhere to these essential practices:
Open Environment
Always work in a public and open space. Avoid situations where you are unobserved with a child or young person.
Medical Treatment
First aid or injury care in closed areas requires another adult present. Doors must remain open, and parents should be invited to observe. Always obtain verbal consent.
Changing Rooms
Parents should take responsibility for their children where possible. If club supervision is required, staff must always work in pairs.
Mixed Teams
Mixed teams must always be accompanied by both a male and female manager, coach, or volunteer.
